Math Workshop Deluxe
As you enter into the fun house of Math Workshop Deluxe, you will be greeted by cartoon character Polly; your tour guide through the activities. This active mind series is designed to help your child develop an interest for learning in an easy way.
There are eight (8) math activity rooms within this fun house. Three (3) activity rooms help your child to exercise skills in visual construction, detecting patterns and solving geometric puzzles. The fourth (4) room Window Patterns allows your child to be creative by composing their very own geometric designs. As you climb the stairs four (4) other amazing rooms awaits your presence. These rooms teach your child how to identify fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and estimation. As you continue on this journey Gus the Gorilla joins you on this mission as you reach the next level.
This workshop has four (4) levels of difficulty and attracts children between the ages of six (6) till twelve (12). You also can easily customize the program's difficulty to match exactly the skill levels of your child or class. The program tracks each user's performance, by specific math activity.
Math Workshop was created for children who like freedom to choose a path of activity and explore on his/her own. The cartoon characters, upbeat tone and fun style make the program appealing for children. The onscreen guidance makes it easy for children to operate the activities without any assistance.

According to constructivist,Dewey learning is an active process in which the learner uses sensory input and constructs meaning out of it. The more traditional formulation of this idea involves the terminology of the active learner stressing that the learner needs to do something; that learning is not the passive acceptance of knowledge which exists "out there" but that learning involves the learners engaging with the world.Dewey pointed out in Experience and Education, education does not mean that they necessarily have to be complex but they do need to allow the participants to think as they act. All hands-on activities must also pass the test of being minds on and they must provide something to think about as well as something to touch. This software facilitates this principle of learning based on the belief of constructive learning.
